Welcome to the Hartford, CT chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club's website. We are part of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers/Troopers Motorcycle Club (NABSTMC) which came into existence in 1999 and has since grown to 86 chapters throughout the country. Through the efforts of our chapter’s founding members, Shawn Bolden and Bryant Moore, the Hartford, CT chapter became part of the NABSTMC in February of 2004.
Neither the NABSTMC nor our chapter lay claim to any territory. Instead, the organization is committed to serving the community through participation in various charity rides, raising funds for community organizations and promoting safe riding habits. Additionally, one of the key objectives of each chapter is to educate the community, schools, civic groups and churches about the history and legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th cavalry which came into existence in 1866 through an act of Congress.
Nationally and locally, the NABSTMC is comprised of a large contingent of active and retired law enforcement, active and retired military personnel and various other professions. You will gain knowledge not only about the courageous Buffalo Soldiers and their contributions in shaping the history of this country, but our efforts to honor their legacy.
